The warmth of the welcome and the facilities provided, especially the secure cycle storage and the general helpfulness in many ways made our stay very comfortable and relaxing.

Guesthouse East was a welcome retreat. The owners are very hospitable and welcoming. The room we stayed in was clean and a good size and tastefully furnished. We had breakfast in the morning which was lovely and we could not have been made to feel more welcome. A great place to stay, my 11 and 8 year old thought so too especially my eldest who said he would definately go back to stay and have breakfast!!

We were in Eastbourne for a funeral and the guesthouse was very convenient for meeting up with other family members and for it's location. We were very pleased with our stay there.

The owners, Sarah and Carl were very welcoming and made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. The room was lovely and the location was absolutely great, only 50m from the sea front.

After a long trip we arrived late for check in but the staff were fantastic. They waited up, checked us in and even made us a hot pot of tea. Yes there were a lot of stairs but we were all fit and healthy enough to climb them. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. We would stay again but next time for longer. Anne-Maree

We liked the very friendly guest house owners and the service they provided. The location is calmly, very well placed to go to the beach (200 yards) and to visit Beachy Head (approx. 3 miles away). Last, but not least, there are a lot of restaurants around the corner.

Large family room. Comfortable beds. Recently refurbished. Everything had a "fresh" feeling to it. Very serviceminded and nice owners. The entire family loved the place. Definitiley a B&B we would recommend.
The common area was not finished and when it is breakfast should be included in the price. No fan in the room.

Carl and Sarah are warm, hospitable hosts and made us feel very welcome. Good sized room. Freeview TV. Real extra bonus was having a separate kitchen - great to have a fridge and cooking facilities if you need them. Full English breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. If you're reading this because you can't decide where to stay in Eastbourne, then look no further. You won't be disappointed.
